We're looking for a few good people... who can sing!
We’re large enough to be a chorus, but small enough to remain a family. We work HARD at rehearsals under Mary Green’s expert and nurturing direction to prepare for concerts and to develop our musical abilities and singing skills. Mary’s tough and demanding, but always affirming and supportive.
We’re a collaborative group that welcomes ideas and suggestions. |
Everyone participates in solos and narrative readings. We sing 3 concerts each season... A Fall Concert, A Winter Concert, and A Spring Concert (just for fun), rehearsing for 6 weeks before each concert. We like everyone to sing in all the concerts, but it’s acceptable if you can only make one or two. All music is supplied by the Chorale. There are no dues, but most members choose to make tax-deductible contributions. Members are ambassadors to the community and are encouraged to sell individual tickets to add to online and outlet sales.
Concert dress required:
Women: Black, long-sleeved top with black ankle-length skirt/dress pants; or black, long sleeved, ankle-length dress. Black hose, black shoes.
Men: Black tuxedo, white shirt, purchased MGC green bow tie, green cummerbund and green pocket square. Black socks, black shoes.
